As the monsoon season is finally here in India, so Twitter has launched an exclusive special blue umbrella emoji for its Indian users from Friday June 16. The monsoon season remains in India almost 2 months. The blue umbrella emoji has gone live from June 16 and will be available till the end of August.

Twitter exhibits a new ‘Umbrella’ Emoji for Indian Monsoon season.

The Head of TV Partnerships and Entertainment, Twitter India Viral Jani said in his statement that, “We want to celebrate the famous Indian monsoon season in a better way with twitter emoji’s to bring people closer to delightful conversations and shared experiences.

A bright blue umbrella will be visible next to hashtag if people tweet using these words;

Previously, Twitter has celebrated the local cultural days of Indians such as Diwali, Independence Day, Ganesh Chaturthi, Republic Day, Ambedkar Jayanti and International Day of Yoga with the customized emoji’s. While, twitter has launched very first time any weather related emoji in India.
