TENNA certifies 6.6-inch Honor V8 Max.

The Chinese regulatory authority TENNA has recently certified heftier version of V8. With the model number EDI-DL00, the device could be named V8 Max. V8 Max will carry a 6.6-inch AMOLED display with a pixel resolution of 1440 x 2560. The device runs on a home-brewed Kirin 950 chipset, humming with an octa-core 2.3GHz CPU and the Mali-T880 GPU. It has 3GB RAM with 32GB of internal memory expandable via microSD of 128GB.

As far as the camera department is concerned, it has a 13MP rear and an 8MP front shooter to capture selfies and handle video chat. The honor V8 Max comes with dual SIM/dual standby, and VoLTE. The battery is 4400mAh with whopping capacity to keep the lights on. The rest of the spec includes fingerprint scanner and the V8 Max is available in Gold and Silver color options. Android 6.0 is pre-installed with EMIU 4.1 running on top.

The phone is as thin as 7.18mm, and weighs 219 grams. The honor V8 Max is likely to go official on Huawei’s July 11th event.
