Samsung is organizing an event in Bengaluru today, where Samsung is launching its latest Android tablet, the Galaxy Tab S3 in India. The price and availability of the tablet will be disclosed today at the event. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 was firstly launched in February at Mobile World Congress 2017.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is an upgraded version of the last year’s Galaxy S2 tablet and it will compete directly to Apple’s 9.7-inch iPad Pro. The tablet packs a 9.7-inch Super AMOLED display with HDR support and resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. The Galaxy Tab S3 features a glass and metal design.

The Galaxy Tab S3 is powered by Snapdragon 820 Qualcomm’s quad-core processor with the speed of 2.15GHz, along with 4GB RAM and 32GB internal memory. The tablet’s memory can be expandable up to 256GB through microSD card. The tablet has four speakers tuned by AKG and auto adjustment which depends upon the style you are holding the device. Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 packs a 13MP rear camera with LED flash light and a selfie camera of 5MP on the front. Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is measures 6.1mm and houses a 6000mAh battery. The tablet will run on Android Nougat OS with TouchWiz user interface. The Galaxy Tab S3 will be available in black and white color schemes.

Samsung is putting up the Galaxy Tab S3 as a multi usage productivity tablet. The tablet comes along with the company’s Stylus Pen for doodling, note taking and other Stylus Pen features just as magnify, translate and navigation. Samsung is also presenting a folio keyboard case that will connect through the magnetic pins and transform the tablet into a dual purpose device.
