Introducing a mid-range smartphone with premium specs and a $250 outright price is something too good to be true. That is why, Sammy has not made Galaxy On8 global and stick to its launch for Indian market.

Flipkart, the online retailer, has started selling the Galaxy On8 INR. 14,900, which is around $225, but this is for initial buyers. Later on, it will be priced at INR. 15,900 ($240).

As per Flipkart the order device could be 1 unit per customer, 30 days. The handset will have three color variants; Gold, Black, and White.

Galaxy On8 comes with 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 7580 processor. Inside is the 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, which you can extend via microSD card. Camera-wise, 13MP rear shooter as well as 5MP front facer.

It is powered by 3,300 mAh battery which lasts for one to two days. Also, the On8 launches with 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution.

Currently, the smartphone is selling only in India, but in case of rolling out to further markets, its price will change as per region and carrier.
