Samsung is working on a few low-end versions of best sellers in its smartphone. One such version is the Galaxy Core Prime Value Edition, which is revamped variant of original Core Prime from last year.

The version was spotted on a Dutch Retailer. Spec-wise, it has a 4.5 inch screen and runs on a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor with 8GB of built-in storage. Further it features 4G LTE support a 5 MP rear camera, and a 2 MP unit for front snapper. However, in terms of OS, it will be up-sized with Android 5.1 Lollipop which will be upgradable to Android 5.0.2 Lollipop right now. Just like other Value Editions, it does not have huge upgrade either.

The Galaxy Core Prime Value Edition launch is just around the corner, likely to happen in July. As far as the pricing is concerned it will just near to the original Core Prime.
