According to Strategy Analytics, a market research company, Samsung has so far been successful in shipping more than 20 million units of flagship Galaxy S8 and S8+. This target was achieved at the end of July this year.

After it successfully launched on 21st April this year, Galaxy S8 and S8+ shipments on daily basis have been about 278,800, reports the research firm. In total, Samsung had hence shipped about 19.8 million S8 units in April-June.

Such massive shipment might have also caused the increments in average Samsung Galaxy S8 price. A report in the past showed that Samsung S8 sales are declining but the company denied such rumors altogether, and these statistics are sufficient to confirm Samsung’s denials. Moreover, the sales of S8 have even been doubled than S7 in the first quarter post release. These stats, therefore, confirm that the company has once again topped the smartphone market sales.
