While the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active for AT&T is not official at the moment, the carrier has just confirmed that the device is on its way. We have been getting tons of leaks for a long time about this upcoming smartphone from Samsung but it seems that AT&T wants to postpone the launch.

In the FAQ section of the carrier’s website, it has been confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active is soon to hit the market.

The phone looks pretty impressive with a 5.8-inch 2,960 x 1,440 18.5:9 Super AMOLED non-curved touchscreen with Gorilla Glass 5, a ruggedized MIL-STD-810G compliant bod and the Snapdragon 835 chipset. It packs 4GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable storage in addition to a big 4,000 mAh battery.

The cameras look the same as those of the S8 and S8+, a 12 MP rear unit and an 8 MP selfie shooter. Besides, the device will weigh 208g and be 9.9mm thick.
