Qmobile has recently purchased license form the tech giant Microsoft to manufacture Windows powered phones. Microsoft has also given and still plans to give similar license to Chinese manufacturers for the expansion of its Windows market. A budget-friendly phone with Windows is in works and expected to launch soon in Pakistan. The phone will pack a 4-inch display and will run on quad-core processor with 512mb RAM. Camera-wise, it has a 5MP rear camera and a front VGA snapper. To expand the storage capacity, the phone will hold microSD card slot. The phone will also support OTA update. No word on the internal storage has been given as yet. The price is expected to be PKR 10000 which roughly makes $98.
