Today Verizon has unveiled a new color of Motorola Turbo Droid. This Sapphire Blue Droid will only be for Verizon. The Droid Turbo is smaller but fit for most of people. And the new option is indeed enticing for buying. The color is however called “Sapphire Blue Ballistic Nylon” because just two named color moniker seemed old-fashioned now. The name is not official one and you can still call it a mere “blue”. The blue model is now in stores and online for $199.99 with a new two-year contract, or $599.99 sans long-term agreement. You can also use the company’s Edge installment plan with no upfront charges and just 24 monthly payments of $24.99.

The Droid Turbo features a 5.2-inch 2,560×1, 440 Super AMOLED touchscreen. It runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 SoC with a 2.7 GHz quad-core CPU. It packs 3GB of RAM and 32GB of non-expandable storage. Camera-wise, it has a 21 MP rear camera with dual-LED flash and a 2 MP front-facing camera. It is powered by a 3,900 mAh battery.
