Moto Z Droid and Moto Z Force Droid Getting Android 7.1.1 update on Verizon

  MPC Team

The Moto Z Force Droid is the 2016 flagship model of Motorola in the US, so, it has recently been updated to Android 7.1.1 along with the Moto Z Droid. Verizon has been started popping out a new update to Motorola smartphones Moto Z Droid and Moto Z Force Droid on its network.

Along with the major update of Android Nougat OS version 7.1.1, the update also brings the July Android security fixes to the both devices. However, Motorola hasn’t announced anything official yet, but we want both models to be updated up to the Android 8.0 (Oreo).

So, if you have the Moto Z Droid or Moto Z Force Droid and you got the notification advising you that an update has been arrived, before continuing the process you have to make sure that you are connected to a strong Verizon cellular signal and your battery is 100% charged. However, you can also check out the update manually by going to Settings then System updates after that Check for system update.
