LG has later introduced AKA smartphones for kids in Korea last year. Now it plans to expand into further countries including Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Singapore and Turkey. Last week the phone debuted in Taiwan. The smartphones have a goofy look with eyes popping out in different ways to show the emotional character of the phone. Every emotion has a different persona-Eggy in yellow color who is like a compulsive lover, a goofy yet impulsive Wooky in white, Yo-Yo in pink, perpetually on a diet, and music-loving Soul in navy blue color. The blink in eyes are kind of emotions in notification reminder. The color of eye changes with the notification type. The new AKA phones packs a 5-inch 720p display and runs on a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor with 1.5 GB RAM, 16 GB built-in storage. It has Android 4.4 KitKat and is powered by 2610mAh battery. The AKA phone is priced at $455 in Korea for now. Price for Taiwan market is yet not revealed.
