It seems that some innovative ideas will retire before even actual birth. Similarly, progression on modular phones look dim and LG is planning to make G6 a non-modular phone. As per ET news, the company has decided to stop producing further G’s with modular concept. They say that next generation would be something else.

Also the industry sources have also confirmed an integral design rather modular one. So we can assume, that G6 will be somewhat like V20. ET News has also outed many G6 components that do not support a modular framework.

This new report strongly refutes the notions earlier established that the company will stick to modular phones for next year’s flagship. The recent unpopularity of G5 and the sale and distribution issues with modular phone’s business model have made the company to change its mind.
