The reason being it the most discussed issue is that overheating might diminish the overall performance of the device as the whole memory and processing runs on chipset. Now LG has gone under extensive trials and introduced Snapdragon 810 in its new LG G Flex 2. However, LG doesn’t seem to have any issue on overheating of the chipset. LG vice president expressed his views, regarding this in an even on G Flex 2, as: “I am very much aware of the various concerns in the market about the (Snapdragon) 810, but the chip’s performance is quite satisfactory,” and “I don’t understand why there is an issue over heat.”   Meanwhile, Samsung has left Snapdragon 810 in favor of its in-house chipset Exynos. It is either an attempt to become more self-reliant or completely avoid the overheating issues. Which one is true will soon be revealed after we test LG G Flex 2 in market.
