We previously mentioned the March 23 event scheduled by Lenovo. We expected that Vibe Z3 Pro, which was under the rug for quite a time, will now make an appearance. However anticipation turned out to be wrong and a mid-ranger debuted. The device is dubbed Lenovo K3 Note which is an upgraded version of Lenovo K3. The device features 5.5-inch Full HD display. The smartphone runs on a 64-bit Mediatek MT 6752 chipset, and an octa-core processor humming at 1.7 GHz with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB internal storage expandable by up to 32 GB via microSD. Camera-wise, it has 13 MP rear camera paired with a dual-tone LED and a 5 MP front snapper, The Lenovo K3 Note comes with dual-SIM dual-standby capability and SIM1 supports 2G/3G and LTE connectivity, while the second slot is GSM based. It is powered by 3,000mAh battery.

The smartphone is priced at CNY 899 ($145) for the regular version and CNY 999 ($160) for the Teana called option. The plus CNY100 is justified by a special “ceramic piece vibration speaker”, which supposedly pumps out more decibels.
