Lenovo A6000 unveiled

With its multiple product categories Lenovo is hitting the CES 2015 hard. Along with Vibe X2 Pro, Lenovo P90, and ThinkPad X1 Carbon, the Chinese giant has showcased yet another smartphone – the Lenovo A6000.Initially, at $169 which makes roughly INR 10000, this device offers impressive specs. The Lenovo A6000 packs a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset with 1.2GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 processor and comes with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory. It has 5-inch 720p IPS display, an 8MP rear shooter and a 2MP front snapper. The Connectivity options include 4G LTE with two SIM cards. The Indians are more tech savvy with inclination towards affordable technology, and this is all what Lenovo A6000 speaks about. Colin Giles, the company senior vice president for worldwide sales had this to say on the matter:

“We think the Indian buyers will want to future-proof themselves for when 4G services become more widespread in country. Buying a smartphone is a big decision involving a sizeable portion of their disposable income and they wouldn’t want to take a chance.”

The device will be first shipped to Indian market at the end of January. It will be available at Flipkart but the price and specs may be slightly adjusted by Launch time.
