A couple of images have been leaked which correspond to Sony teaser showing a smartphone used by James Bond in Spectre but is still unannounced.

Leaked Images of “Made for Bond” new Sony Smartphone is making rounds online

The images show teaser of device dubbed Xperia *5, with the letter before 5 blurred out. Further it says Made for Bond which suggests definitely a movie product. However, there is yet not any news on whether it will be flagship or not.Speculations are that it could be the Xperia Z5, given that the company’s last flagship smartphone was the Xperia Z4 (a.k.a. Xperia Z3+). Keep in mind that these are just speculations.

Recent leak is that the Xperia *5 will debut in September. It will likely run yet-to-be-released Snapdragon 820 chipset coupled with 4GB RAM. It is powered by a whopping 4,500mAh battery, and comes with feature a fingerprint recognition system. In terms of camera, it is rumored to pack 21MP Sony Exmor RS IMX230 CMOS sensor, with 4K video recording support and HDR capabilities.

Spectre, meanwhile, is set for release in the US on November 6.
