As per new report, if Apple does not go for anti-smuggling registration is Iran, iPhones will be banned in the country. Apple also has to send a representative for correspondence in Iran.

As per Irani Government, smuggled iPhones are selling in the country on large scale. According to Irani News Agency Tasneem, 4 crore people are using iPhone in the country and majority has smuggled smartphones.

As per instruction of Irani authorities, iPhones will be banned and confiscated if no proper arrangements will be made by Apple.

Though this scheme is being initiated with collaboration of both Irani Mobile Phone Operator and local government, however, IT experts of the view that it is difficult to seize iPhone on this scale.
