Huawei has recently surpassed the 100 million smartphones shipment figure this year. This announcement was made by Chinese OEM via official Weibo account. It can finally be compared with leading companies like Apple and Samsung in the 100 million club. This comes after the company has taken lead as third largest smartphone manufacturer in the World with an amazing shipment figure which was forecasted to cross 100 million figure before the year ends. Finally it has hit the mark.

Huawei smartphone shipment reaches over 100 million this year

Huawei has launched two flagship devices one after other, Huawei Mate S and Mate 8, and are selling remarkably in China. Huawei will be selling Mate 8 next year in US and it is also expected to reveal US launch plans for sub-brand “Honor” in the upcoming CES, 2016.

As per WSJ, Mate 8 and Honor 5X will be the first Huawei smartphones to enter US market. The company will also introduce a smartwatch some time in next year.
