After subject to a lot of rumors and leaks the Huawei P9 and Huawei P9 Plus were finally official.  P9 as previously rumored could be company’s first flagship that will be introduced for U.S market, featuring a 5.2-inch LCD display with a pixel resolution of 1080 x 1920. It runs on a Kirin 955 SoC, accompanying both four Cortex-A72 cores and four Cortex-A53 cores. Further it will be expandable via microSD.

Huawei P9 and P9 Plus finally goes official.

The dual 12MP camera setup where one camera comes with colored pictures, while other is monochrome shooter. Both come with Leica optics. There is also an 8MP front-facing camera. The phone comes with 3GB/32GB or 4GB/64GB memory configurations, with a finger print scanner at the rear. It is powered by 3000mAh battery and runs on Android 6.0 is pre-installed with Huawei’s EMUI 4.1 on top, The Huawei P9 will initially set you back for  $680 and will launch in select markets  on April 16th. The phone will sell in Ceramic White, Haze Gold, Rose Gold, Titanium Silver, Mystic Silver and Prestige Gold color variants.

The Huawei P9 Plus packs 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with pixel resolution of 1080 x 1920 FHD. Under the hood, the device comes with 955 Chipset which and will run on a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of ROM (expandable via microSD). Similar to the P9, the P9 Plus features a 12MP camera setup at the rear and an 8MP selfie snapper. It is powered by a more beefy 3400mAh battery. It boots Android 6.0 is pre-installed with Huawei’s EMUI 4.1 on top. The Huawei P9 Plus is currently tagged at $850.
