The force by the tap will determine which function to perform. You might have seen the same technology on Apple iPhone 6s and 6s Plus marketed as 3D Touch.

Three months after the launch of Mate S, the manufacturer introduced another flagship handset with the name Mate 8 but surprisingly with no Touch sensitivity. Now it seems that the company is about to launch a variant of Mate 8 with Force Touch feature as per TENNA revelations. The Chinese regulatory authority has said a new version with same specs of Mate 8 model has recently visited the place only adding the Force Touch feature.

Just to refresh the specs of Mate 8, it has a 6-inch IPS LCD display with a pixel resolution of 1080 x 1920. It runs on a home-brewed Kirin 950 chipset with an octa-core 2.3GHz CPU. It has a 4GB of RAM with three storage variants that is 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB of native storage expandable via microSD of 128GB. It has a 16MP rear camera unit and an 8MP front facer. It comes with a whopping 4000mAh battery to run the handset, and Android 6.0.1 is pre-installed with Huawei’s Emotion 4.0 UI on top.

The TENNA certification means that an announcement for manufacturer’s side is imminent. Stay tuned to learn more about the Force Touch at hand for Mate 8 upon launch.
