How to restore deleted files.

Ah, I just clicked something else and one of my files disappeared. This is what we face when we have no idea how things disappear even if we don’t tap them for this purpose. Also, sometimes, the disks delete extra files that needed to be restored later on. There are also software in our system or installed by us that delete files of are no use. So removing files is a constant part when comes to handling data.

How to restore deleted files.

But what about restoring these files. There are hordes of ways to go about it.

  1. Firstly, when you select a file and press delete in Windows, it does not get deleted at all. You can find it in Recycle Bin from where you can restore it by going to the folder, with a drop down menu. It has the option Restore, so click Restore.
  2. If the Recycle Bin icon is not there, Go to Start Menu and look for “Show and Hide” and you can see a box next to Recycle Bin that will let you do it.
  3. Another important thing is don’t rely on Recycle Bin every time looking for lost folder. The default size is more than adequate for the files you want to restore and are present in Recycle Bin. To check whether it works, right click on the Recycle Bin and choose properties.
  4. But, undoubtedly, if we have not created any backups and delete the data hastily from Recycle Bin, there is sheer chance of restoration.

Moreover, It is important to create storage with SD cards another hard drive and cloud storage, so that you might get your data back even in desperate times. So keep your data safe and manage the risk.
