HMD Global will soon announce Four Nokia- Branded smartphones.

HMD Global has recently announced that it have acquired license to release Nokia Branded handsets for next ten years. Recently the company has also confirmed to launch it handset in the upcoming MWC 2017.

The first Nokia Branded smartphone to be unveiled by Nokia D1C. Apart from this, HMD is also aspiring to build four new smartphones of Nokia in collaboration with a Taiwanese supply chain.

As per industry sources, this second wave of smartphone will be announced in the second and third quarter of 2017. Reportedly, these smartphones will have bigger display form 5.2-inch to 5.7-inch, with support for QHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) or full HD (1080p) resolutions.

HMD Global has consulted other companies for display supply like LG, Century Technology and Innolux, while FIH Mobile will be production partner. The company’s first offering Nokia D1C will have two versions.

The hefty model will cost you $200 and will come with 5.5-inch full HD (1080p) display, carrying 3GB of RAM. The less hefty variant will be priced at $150, which includes a smaller 5-inch HD (720p) display supported by 2GB RAM.

These handsets will likely to release globally, but will be priced according to the market and region.
