We must have witnessed many SMS delivering the message from Benazir Income Support Program regarding income despite SIM verification process. These are all fake.

After this another fraud is making rounds on the SMS which includes disseminating golden numbers delivering the SIM via courier. The fake contacts the person and gives him number via SMS and deliver it via courier in exchange of PKR. 1250. The SIM is then asked to get activated via franchise.

Golden number Fraud is now a prevalent practice in Pakistan.

The SIM courier sends is packed and the person does not let you open it until you make a payment. After opening it, you get a SIM with normal number.

The golden number fraud SMS has numbers that can only be bought with SMS at PKR. 1250.

The Golden numbers include 0301000786, 0300000786, 03000000006, 03000000001, 03000000008 etc.
