Facebook has recently reached a major milestone. Facebook Messenger monthly active user’s base reaches one billion. Last year in June the messenger’s monthly active users reach 700 million. Also in February, WhatsApp monthly active users reached one billion. This means every seventh person of world is using WhatsApp.

People send 22million GIFs daily on messenger, which means 524GIFs in one second. Basketball game has been played 1.2 billion times on messenger. Soccer game has been played 250million times. On mother day 300 million sent flowers and there were 360 million messages sent on Valentine’s Day.
