Facebook has launched Messenger Lite. This lighter version is launched for regions where internet is slow and expensive. The users can use Messenger Lite easily at slow speed internet. With this less sized application, users can send link, photos and text just like the regular application.

The users can also receive stickers in messenger Lite but they cannot download and share them.

Messenger Lite will be initially launched in Kenya, Tunas, Malaysia, Siri lanka and Venezuela. Also the company announced that the project will be expanded to other regions.

Currently, this application is not rolled out to Google Play store. However, we will see it in few days.
