Galaxy Note 8 tried to be immaculate this year and it carries curved glass display picked from its Galaxy S8 series. The display is so huge that we can’t spot the bezel in sight. Curved glass is also on the back of the phone with a frame of metal edge. Though the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has 6.3 inch screen display but it is only 162.5 x 74.8 x 8.6mm, due to trim bezels.

Comparatively, Google Pixel 2 XL has slim bezels but not like nonexistent ones on Galaxy Note 8. The pixel phone kept its quirky design like half glass and half metal, design is fine but we can’t spot any significant changes in design of this phone.

Fingerprint scanners of both of the phones are at the back; Samsung has positioned it next to its camera whereas Pixel 2 XL has placed it closer to middle of the phone rear back, making it easier for users to use without smudging camera lens as it would most likely happen in Samsung Galaxy Note 8 scanner.
