Less than a week after, the Blackberry CEO John Chen has announced that the company will soon give a price slash on the Priv earlier next year, its home market has started offering it.

Canadian market is now offering a price slash on BlackBerry Priv.

SaskTel, a local carrier, is offering BlackBerry Priv for CAD 250 (around $180), which is CAD 150 down from its original price CAD 400.

Though the offer is currently for both online customers and physical store buyers, still the carrier is running out of stock. While Other Canadian carrier’s like Rogers are still offering it for CAD 400.

The price slash on the phone is announced on day after Chen revealed that the company could launch a second Android smartphone, depending on the success of Priv.
