Zong Seizes More than 75% 4G Market in Pakistan

We have heard about the rumors that Mobilink might buy out Telenor, as the latter’s sales are continuously declining in the recent period. Given the financial struggle experienced by every cellular company in Pakistan, Zong stands out as an exception.

This is largely because Zong has now captured more than 75% 4G market in Pakistan. In order to achieve this milestone, Zong had made significant investments to establish a vast 4G network. The company has, at the moment, more than 7,000 4G enabled towers across the country through which customers are able to get high-speed internet connectivity at still very affordable charges.

Additionally, Zong has been selling more than 70% data SIMS today, and when it comes to mobile broadband (MBB) users, more than 70% of the total customer base is intact with Zong 4G MBB services.

This is the reason that Zong has become a market leader vis-à-vis 4G MBB market, and there is no telecom company in Pakistan that can come anywhere near to Zong given the current circumstances.
