Pakistan’s telecom sector is advancing day by day. It has not only transformed the connectivity landscapes but also there have been heavy investments for nationwide coverage. According to statistics, Pakistan has advanced from 22% cellular in 2006-2006 to 70% in 2015-2016. Hence, there has been a rapid growth in ensuring cellular penetration to over 130 million. Zong recorded the highest growth in this industry.

Zong Has Recorded the Highest Growth Rate in Pakistan’s Telecom Industry

China Mobile subsidiary Zong is dedicated to digitalize Pakistan’s telecom sector. Zong has performed so well that it has surpassed all other network in Pakistan. Especially, talking about 4G network, Zong is leading with the the highest level of innovation and creativity.

Zong revealed its first quarter performance results of 2017. According to these results, Zong saw a growth rate of 30% while comparing with first quarter of 2016. Its 4G subscribers grown by 396% from last year which make a market share of 75%. The total 4G sites upgraded by 80%. All this shows a huge growth rate for Zong in Pakistan.
