It has been reported earlier that Xiaomi is going to release its flagship Mi Mix 2S on 27^th March. Before that, the company is going to warm up the new series of releases with the launch event of its Redmi 5 smartphone on 14^th March in India. This phone is already released in China, Singapore and Pakistan. Now is the turn for India to get this phone.

The phone’s smaller sibling known as Redmi 5a is also available in India, where as the larger brother known as Redmi Note 5’s new stock will be available on 14^th March, as the first sales of the phone were started from 22^nd February.

Xiaomi Redmi 5 was also released in Pakistan in the previous month, and it had got a phenomenal response among Pakistani audience.
