Nokia X6’s official renders, have recently been leaked and made available for the fans, thanks to the popular Chinese social media site; Baidu. The design and looks of the phone appeared on the Baidu site and were also displayed in an advertisement by a Chinese retailer, “Suning”. These leaked renders reveal a notch design, dual cameras and some other mid-range smartphone specifications.

The latest renders of HMD Global’s Nokia X6, were acquired at an event recently where Nokia was showcasing the designs of their upcoming mid-range smartphones. The phone displayed at the event had the ever popular notch on top design, a premium glass build for the body and dual cameras on the rear of the phone.

A Chinese retailer known as Suning is now offering 10 units of Nokia X6 in a photo contest and revealed the official renders of the phones in an advertisement which the retailer posted on its Weibo page. Although, Nokia fans and users worldwide already know what the new phone looks like from the initial photo leaks but there was still a chance of Nokia making some last-minute changes in the design.

Suning’s contest will award money as well as 10 Nokia X6 units to the top three entrants of the competition. Here is what the retailer’s advertisement looks like:

Mid-range Smartphone Specifications

The retailer’s contest specifies that Nokia X6 won’t see any significant changes when it gets launched next week. Although, it will be the first phone from the company to get the notched display with a rear mounted fingerprint scanner and a body with an all-glass build.

There’s also specifications sheet leak on the ad indicating that it will feature a 10W (5V/2A) charger. Most flagship phones these days charge more quickly due to higher voltages than this and have better fast charging technology.

The lower power input option indicates that the Nokia X6 is not meant to compete with the likes of Galaxy S9+ and LG G7 ThinQ. Instead, it’s a regular mid-range smartphone resembling the iPhone X. The phone shall have two RAM options; 4GB and 6GB along with either MediaTek Helio P60 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset.
