FCC, American regulatory authority, has recently certified two models of Huawei with model number H1622 and H710VL. These could be the two variants of the same phone. Previously, the Nexus 6P carries model numbers H1511 and H1512, the H1622/H710VL could be a new 2016 Nexus model. It also reported that HTC is working on two models of next Nexus sequel. One model is codenamed Sailfish and other handset bears Marlin.

Two Huawei handset gets FCC Certification.

Back in December Huawei did report it is building the next Nexus flagship despite of the rumors that HTC could be the partner in crime with Google. Other pictures and documentation on by the FCC report shows that both model numbers come with Type-C USB port at the bottom and 3.5mm earphone jack on top. The devices will run on 3000mAh juicer that gives life to mobile factory. As per FCC revelations, both handsets H1622 and H710VL might have one differentiating point that is pre-installed software.

It interesting to see two companies allegedly seemed involved in the manufacturing of the next Nexus and somehow communicating its presence. This concludes that there could be three Nexus this year which is an anomaly as far tradition is concerned. Currently, we are not sure, but could confirm the actual status when the launch nears possibly in September.
