Telenor Pakistan is aiming to expand its service portfolio in the country, and this time the company has roped in the Swedish technology company namely Truecaller for providing the users a pre-version of this application, which will be a customized version of it as well. This app will then be helpful in improving the Telenor users’ calling experience through restriction of the spam messages and calls.

Truecaller is basically the global crowd-source directory application which mainly has a special caller ID feature through which the Telenor users will be able to identify the unknown messages and calls as well as block them at their own will.

It should be noted that the users in Pakistan get about 3 million spam calls every month, which is a major source of unease for the users in the country.

Hence, this partnership will be helpful for bringing this number down at least for one network’s users. Moreover, the agreement will primarily be for six months and in the trial phase, the Truecaller Pro will be available for users in ad-free experience environment.
