Sprint not to merge with T-Mobile owing to clashes over combined carrier control!

  MPC Team

There were many rumors reported earlier that T-Mobile and Sprint are in final stage for merger of the two companies, and the early rumors propped up back in early September. Then it was in early October that we heard that two companies are in the final negotiation stage for merger, and it was further expected that the final announcement would have been made by now.

However, as it turns out, it is not going to happen anyway. This was reported by Sprint owner Softbank namely Nikkei, who has now decided to call off this merger with T-Mobile. Moreover, it will also be reaching the owner of T-Mobile for letting him know about this new development.

The two companies had earlier reached a broad agreement for integration of the Sprint and T-Mobile. These are currently third and fourth largest carriers in the US. However, the main reason behind calling off this merger is the clash between two companies concerning who gets how much shares and which company will exert more control in comparison of the other.
