There is no denying the fact that Qualcomm is definitely going to release the next high-end chipset for the next year’s flagship smartphones, which will be Snapdragon 845. It has been reported that Samsung has already decided to buy the first complete batch of Snapdragon 845 SoC for its upcoming flagship Samsung Galaxy S9.

The latest report in this regard is that Qualcomm is going to announce the arrival of new Snapdragon 845 on December this year. The upcoming event will be held on 4-8 December in Hawaii.

Snapdragon 845 is basically the successor SoC of Snapdragon 835, which was released this year in January. So the next chipset will arrive one month earlier than the scheduled date.

This is also expected that after its inclusion in Galaxy S9, Qualcomm will provide latest Snapdragon 845 SoC to other companies too for their respective flagship phones.
