Samsung expects to get 50% more profit in Q1 2018!

In about the third quarter of previous year, Samsung had started this practice of posting the records of its financial reports for particular quarters. This was mostly due to the higher demand of its memory chips. The latest reports have revealed that the company now expects to make more than 50% more profit in the first quarter of 2018.

The company expects to release the guidance numbers by tomorrow, while it has made the operating profit of $13.7 billion, which is actually 50% higher than the same period of last year, when the profit was $8.8 billion.

Reuters has reported that about 70 cents for every dollar are coming from the DRAM chips business of Samsung, as the company has made extensive sales for that. The company made breakthroughs in the smartphone market, as the sales in Samsung Galaxy S9 have so far been $9.3 million in the first quarter of the year.

Another analyst has also said that the company will make even more profits owing to the high shipments as well as reduced costs. Another inside report has revealed that the company’s OLED business is making 60% profit of the expected one due to the lower amount of sales of Apple iPhone X.
