QMobile Noir S1 Pro Review

QMobile has recently launched the S-series and its latest Noir S1 Pro is real thing to take a look at. It is not superb yet the promotion is making it to get noticed by tech notes. No doubt device appears super amazing with reasonable innards. The Noir S1 Pro comes as a bigger sibling but the increments are very less. Only, the software is upgraded to Marshmallow and battery is increased up to only 200mAh. The Pro and the standard version have more things in common, however, with the word Pro everything sounds powerful which is not the case. Moreover, the handset, design-wise, also speaks the same language.

QMobile Noir S1 Pro Review

Noir S1 Pro is handy and compact phone with the dimensions of 144 x 71 x 9mm. It is taller than the previous edition that is why it appears sleeker. The device is carved out of polycarbonate plastic and has thick bezels that makes it not one of the latest in works to talk about. The QMobile Noir S1 Pro comes with a 5-inch capacitive panel with pixel resolution of 480 x 854, outright disappointing as we were expecting an HD IPS display. The device has commonality in other design format including camera, mic, and speakers with the Noir S1. So Pro appears with no big thing.

QMobile Noir S1 Pro runs on Quad-core 1.3 GHz MediaTek MT6580M SoC, which is not the fastest and latest in chipset technology yet it performs well when it comes to games and videos. The memory combination is modest with 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM. This is very entry level for a handset that is dubbed Pro. At least it must haves something incremental than the base model. The external memory is also there to extend the storage capacity that is 64 GB through SD-card. Frankly speaking, QMobile has Provide nothing new in S1 Pro except software and battery capacity.

Finally, camera-wise, the S1 Pro fails to dominate the spec sheet. It has 5 MP rear and 5 MP front camera, where the rear one comes with LED flash. We have been observing that, QMobile are designing more selfie-centric phones where the front camera is either given same or better resolution. The general settings supports Geo-tagging, exposure, color effect, scene mode and some more setting option. The camera Tab also provides other options like Zero shutter delay, Face Detection, Smile Shot, and Auto Scene detection. There are other settings that enhance the usability of the camera on phone.

It has a bit upgraded 2200mAh battery, and that can never be the only take to buy it.
