Panasonic has introduced a tablet dubbed Toughpad FZ-A2. The tablet is introduced for Enterprise sector. Panasonic Toughpad FZ-A2 was introduced in Panasonic Automotive Innovation Summit held in Barcelona. Crafted with magnesium, this tablet has also been tested for strength by dropping it from 1.2 meter.
Panasonic Toughpad FZ-A2 is dust and water-proof. The tablet has 10.1-inch display with a pixel resolution of 1920 x 1200. You can easily use it outdoors as well as while wearing gloves.
The tablet runs on Atom x5 – Z8550 chipset paired with 1.44GHz quad-core CPU and 4GB RAM. Toughpad has 32GB of native memory, which is expandable via microSD card slot.
The 10.1-inch device is 16.4mm in thickness and 880 grams in weight. The device boots Android 6.0 Marshmallow and also packs Android for works Enterprise security.
It also has USB Type-C Port which supports OTG protocol and is used for charging other devices. Other specs include 8MP main camera, full HD sensor at front, built-in direction array microphones, smart card reader, and 4G LTE connectivity.
The Toughpad FZ-A2 will be launched in July and will cost 939 pounds excluding taxes.
