A May 21st release date has already been confirmed by Samsung for the upcoming Galaxy J6 (2018). The company also has plans for releasing more models in the Galaxy J series such as the new Galaxy J4.

From the new renders, we can see that the upcoming model will have a more traditional 5.5-inch AMOLED screen with a 16:9 body-to-screen ratio. The phone will have thicker bezels and the possibility of a front-facing fingerprint scanner below the display. The phone will also feature capacitive buttons instead of on-screen buttons. The top bezel of the phone will feature a front-facing 5 MP front camera with a LED flash.

On the rear we can see, a simple plastic build with a vertical camera module. The main back camera is believed to be of 13MP with a LED flash. Immediately towards the right of camera setup is a tiny speaker. A small slit is also visible on the left side of the panel which suggests that the back cover is removable. The phone is rumored to come with a 3000mAh battery.

The Galaxy J4 (2018) is also expected to have Samsung’s own Quad-core Exynos 7570 processor with a speed of 1.4 GHz. The phone will most probably have 2GB RAM with 16GB storage or 3GB with 32GB storage variants. Support for microSD card will also be available.
