Unlike the leaks of various other smartphones, rumors and leaked images related to the iPhone gain more popularity, thanks to its loyal fan base. Initially, the rumors about the iPhone SE 2 were scarce during last year. But ever since the release of the iPhone X, things took a sharp turn. The latest news related to the iPhone SE 2 reveals that the device will sport a bezel-less design and a notch on the top, similar to the iPhone X. Also, it’s closer to being produced and released in the market. Most sources are even reporting that it’ll be released in September 2018 alongside other models from Apple.

The first design renders of the iPhone SE 2 were made available by Olixar, a popular smartphone accessory maker. The manufacturer released rendered images of the device to display its range of screen protectors and cases for the iPhone SE 2. The images also revealed alleged schematics of the device giving clear indications as what to expect from Apple this year.

The renders from Olixar, display a more angular notch on the iPhone SE 2, similar to the notch found on the iPhone X. The rounded notch will compliment the boxy design of the iPhone SE 2.

Other rumors hint at the possibility of some sort of face unlocking feature. Since the physical home button with fingerprint scanner cannot be seen on the phone in the renders. A glass back allowing wireless charging capability is another rumored feature. As before, there is no 3.5 mm audio jack present on the phone. The dimensions of iPhone SE 2 are going to be the same as the original iPhone SE but the newer model will have a much larger screen.
