Microsoft India has endorsed MoU with TSSC to accelerate Skill Development.

The Telecom Sector Skill Council (TSSC) is a company registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. It’s a purely non-profit organization having a partnership between the telecom industry and National Skill Development Corporation.

Microsoft India has endorsed a ‘Memorandum of Understanding’ (MoU) with the Telecom Sector Skill Council (TSSC) to accelerate skill development via “Project Sangam”. “Project Sangam” is a bargaining chipto Microsoft Azure services and also to the power of LinkedIn. Project Sangam is a cloud hosted platform, to provide a unified mobile-first podium for skilling and employment. TSCC can create courses tractable with the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) through this podium. However, further their partners and trainers can extend these courses with their own training material.

Sanjeev Gupta, Country Manager from Microsoft India said in a statement that, We are very joyous to bring together the power of Microsoft Cloud technologies and data analytics to the Telecom Sector Skill Council and we are destine to support them in their mission to develop best skilled manpower for the telecom industry in India.

S.P. Kochhar, Chief Executive Officer of TSSC said that, Microsoft’s programs, tools and resources will entitled the telecom sector professionals with today’s adeptness and minimize the existing gap between demand and supply of skills.
