In April, Micromax has announced its budgeted Android smartphone back in April named as Bharat 2. Tha smartphone comes with 4G VoLTE connectivity at a very affordable price of Rs. 3,499. The Micromax claims that they have sold over 0.5 million handsets of the Bharat 2 in the country in only 50 days.

Micromax sold over Half a Million devices of Bharat 2 in only 50 days.

The Chief Commercial and Marketing Officer at Micromax Shubhodip Pal at told that they are putting their all efforts to bring technology accessible to all their consumers by working consistently. Now a days the Micromax is also working on another Bharat series budget smartphone with 4G VoLTE connectivity dubbed Bharat 2. The device is expected to run on a lightweight OS, Android Go that was introduced at the Google I/O 2017.

Furthermore he said that the company has expand its distribution network by reaching almost 60,000 outlets all around the country, so, by doing these efforts company has  attained this sale figure for the Bharat 2. Micromax is expecting that the Bharat series will contribute to company’s revenue approximately more than 40%.
