Huawei has released two Y-series smartphones with a gap of just one month, i.e. Y6 (2018) released in April and Y3 (2018) released in May. While appearance-wise both the phones look similar, but actual comparison between Huawei Y3 (2018) and Huawei Y6 (2018) will show that both the phones are quite different. Let’s analyze the difference between the two.
First off, Huawei Y6 (2018) price in Pakistan is Rs. 19,500, while Huawei Y3 (2018) price in Pakistan will be about Rs. 12,000 when it is available in the market. Y3 (2018) is heavy weight as compared to Y6 (2018), as former weighs 175g, while latter weighs 150g. Similarly, display size in Y3 (2018) is only 5 inches, while Y6 (2018) has 5.7-inch display. Additionally, display resolution in Y6 (2018) is better with 1440 x 720 pixels, where as Y3 (2018) only has 854 x 480 pixels resolution.
When it comes to user interface, Huawei Y6 (2018) will come with EMUI 8.0 on top, where as Y3 (2018) will not have any, as it will be running on Android Go edition. Similarly, Y3 (2018) comes with only 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, while Y6 (2018) comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, and in this regard, the latter will come with relatively powerful chipset.
Camera-wise, Huawei Y6 (2018) will come with 13MP camera on the rear and 5MP camera on the front, while Y3 (2018) will have 8MP camera on the rear and only 2MP camera on the front. Lastly, Huawei Y3 (2018) only has 2,280mAh battery, while Y6 (2018) will have 3,000mAh battery capacity.
All these specifications make Huawei Y6 (2018) a better phone in comparison to Huawei Y3 (2018).
