HTC has finally joined the group of brands featuring Face Unlock feature with the introduction of U11 Eyes today. The smartphone will be coming with the same 18:9 aspect ratio along with 6-inch display. However, it will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 SoC along with two cameras on the front.
Moreover, main camera will be 12MP and will be able to shoot 1080p videos at 120 fps. Similarly, the dual selfie cameras will be considered as EYEs of the phone, which also suggest its name. both the front cameras are 5MP on the front with f/2.2 aperture and will be useful in face unlocking the phone. Similarly, this dual setup will also be helpful in Portrait Mode, and it will help in artificial background blurring and will have a lot of AR Snapchat-like stickers to provide better effects.
In addition to that, HTC U11 Eyes will come with 4GB RAM and will have internal storage of 64GB with expandable storage option. The battery capacity is same as of U11+, i.e. 3,930mAh.
Moreover, if you compare HTC U11 Eyes with U11, you will see that there are many similarities on the outside. U11 Eyes will come in four variants, i.e. red, blue, black and silver.
Another distinctive feature of the phone is the edge sense pressure sensitive frame along with gestures featured in this phone. It will also have IP67 certified frame and Bluetooth 4.2
