The HTC Desire 12 will get a bigger and more powerful sibling dubbed as the Desire 12 Plus. Both of the smartphones will bring HTC’s new premium design to the entry level. The HTC Desire 12 Plus model will feature a 5.99-inch LCD screen with an aspect ratio of 18:9, but it keeps 720 x 1,440 pixel resolution. The dimensions of the smartphone are 158.2 x 76.5 x 8.4mm and it weighs 155g.
The HTC Desire 12 Plus will come with 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera, upgrading the camera setup of the Desire 12 model. One more upgrade includes the shift from a quad-core MediaTek chipset to an octa-core A53 Snapdragon 450 at 14nm. It will have 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, out of which 23.5GB will be user-available. Reportedly, the Desire 12 Plus will have a 2,965mAh battery with a feature of Quick Charge 3.0. It is expected that HTC will unveil the new Desire smartphones in spring.
