HMD which is the global distributor of Nokia Nokia-branded smartphones has just confirmed that all of its new models will have the Android p operating system installed. These new models also include the newly unveiled Nokia 5.1, 3.1 and 2.1. The confirmation came from the company’s global marketing manager Neil Broadley during an event which took place in the Moscow.
It’s worth mentioning here that the company also gave this commitment last year for its then existing phones, but companies have been known to backtrack on such bold promises once their portfolios start expanding. So it’s good to have some extra assurance considering such examples.
Meanwhile, the CPO of HMD Juho Sarvikas confirmed during the event that the Nokia 8 will feature the Nokia Pro Camera mode. It will also include an update which will begin rolling out from 1st June.
