Gionee has confirmed today that its M7 smartphone will be released officially on September 25. The company made this announcement through its Weibo account and further said that the launch event will be held in China.

In the meantime, a couple images have been leaked on Weibo showing the front panel of M7. These are shown below.

With regard to the specifications that have been revealed to us through different rumors and leaks, Gionee M7 will have MediaTek Helio P30 chipset. it will also feature 6.0-inch display featuring the resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. Furthermore, it will have 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. Moreover, it will have 16MP main camera and 8MP front camera, and it will run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

There are also rumors that Gionee M7 Power might also be launched, which would be launched on September 28 in Thailand.
