EE limited will introduce world first 4G smart tent in the Glastonbury festival

EE is the mobile operator of the UK and it is claiming that it will launch the world’s first 4G smart tent in the Glastonbury festival. This festival is a five-day festival of the contemporary performing arts which takes place near Pilton, Somerset in England.  It is held annually in the last weekend of June.

The famous music festival will be held from June 21 to June 25. The 4GEE smart tent is about the smart home technology which includes mini fridge which beeps when you are running low on the stock, one entertainment center which will show you the live streams from all the six stages, Virtual reality (VR) content with a 4G hotspot which works from 10 AM to 10 PM

A full stocked fridge with unlimited drink is most desired in the festival.  Then there is a comfy bed and the fastest internet connection. EE company will offer one attendee of the festival and their friend a night stay on the June 23.

The interested people can tweet by using the #4GEESmartTent between 9 AM on June 22 and 9 AM on June 23

The director of communications and and sponsorship Mat Sears said “The camping is the important part of the music festival and previously it was not a comfortable experience so 4GEE smart tent will provide the onsite 4G network to the Glastonbury party animals this year which will bring the great camping experience”
