Chipsets of G6 Play and 18:9 display screens confirmed for Moto G6 Family

It was revealed last month through a huge leak that the upcoming smartphones belonging to Moto G6 family, i.e. Motorola Moto G6, G6 Plus and G6 Play will all be featuring the 18:9 display screens. This has now further been confirmed through the database listing of HTML5 test.

Where the resolution for G6 and G6 Plus has been confirmed to be 2160 x 1080 pixels and for G6 Play to be 1440 x 720 pixels, the accuracy of HTML5 test will make all of these three devices to have confirmed high-resolution displays.

The Moto G6 Play will be having the model number XT1922, and it will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC, where as there will be Android 8.0 Oreo. Moreover, the SoC will be as same as the one installed in the previous G5S.

Similarly, G6 will be coming with S450, where as G6 Plus will be coming with S630. Moto G6 family is expected to release in the next month’s MWC event to be held in Barcelona.
