Asus is Likely to bring the ZenFone 5 lineup at MWC 2018

Alongside the Samsung, HMD Global, Xiaomi and Sony, Asus is also ready to arrive at Mobile World Congress 2018 in Barcelona, Spain. The Taiwanese tech giant Asus has sent out an invitation for its MWC conference, which is scheduled at February 27. Moreover, the official invitation clues the launch of new ZenFone 5 series by pointing out #BACKTO5. It also carries a ‘We Love Photo’ tag that was initially used at the time of releasing the ZenFone 4 lineup previous year.

The MWC 2018 themed by Asus will take place at 07:30 p.m. (CET) on February 27 and it will be streamed live on the company’s official site. A week ago, an Asus smartphone with the model number of ASUS_X00QD got a certification from the WiFi Alliance. According to the certification, the smartphone runs Android 8.0 Oreo and it comes with a dual-band 802.11ac WiFi support. Furthermore, the smartphone is rumored to be revealed as the Asus ZenFone 5 Max, the heritor of the previous year’s ZenFone 4 Max.
